I'm Ralph's editor and widow. UNM published his first book, The Horse in the Kitchen, winner of the American Book Award, in 2004. Since he died in 2017, I've published several books he left in manuscript, the most recent (and probably the last) being a book of poems, Doing Nothing. This blog is my memorial to ;him and a chance for you to learn about his pastime.
